In order to proceed with product development we had to make actual samples of finished emulsions (and not just small stripes). Therefore we needed to work on our skills to produce good hand coatings.

We used an ink-emulsion in order to rehearse and by now we can make pretty good samples.
When the emulsions from the scale up are finished we will produce first images.
After this we plan to put our dip and dunk coater into operation and produce „real samples“ which can be handed out for evaluation.
The next step will be to come up with a cascade coating recipe. Since our small cascade is still packed up on palettes we might have to take a break from lab work over the summer and grab a screwdriver instead….. ;-)
