We scaled the Polywarmtone recipe up to our „large“ kettle (the former Agfa research kettle with 30 Liters). Surprisingly the larger kettle is working even more precisely than the small one. Normally it´s the other way around. Thus we had to repeat the precipitation which cost 1500 EUR´s in silver nitrate but on the other hand we got to know the emulsion better and thus can produce it more stable.

Now we need to evaluate the emulsion. One ripening and sensitization takes a day. This is time consuming work now and will take some time.
